Some people call them futons but we prefer the more comfy-sounding "double lounge". Practical and pretty, this project consists of two frames made from alternating bed slats, and one frame that can be pulled out to make a double bed. Ours is made of pine and finished with a light brown stain. Plan includes exploded view of the double lounge, cutting and material list, step-by-step instructions, and full-color photographs.
