| Comments: Ms. Ventura's first book, Building Beautiful Boxes with your Band Saw took you step by step through the process of making a band saw box. Secrets were revealed in simple how-to directions. As long as the directions were followed, even an amateur woodworker could produce a box to be proud of. This book follows right in its prequel's footsteps. There is less overall theory on the process than the first book but that just makes sense. Two co-writers assisted in the production of the book and the designs contained inside. While this gives a new perspective, it also drifts from the charm the first book possessed. A wealth of designs and recommendations are contained herein but I would recommend that you get the first book before jumping in with this one. | |
